Welcome to the WUMC Family Ministry Blog

Welcome to the new WUMC Family Ministry web page/blog. The Family Ministry is a group of families with generally younger kids (elementary age and younger) who get together about once a month for some sort of fellowship and social activity with the kids. Some of our past events have included free family movie nights, a Fall Harvest Festival, Gingerbread decorating parties. We also try to get the Mom’s and Dad’s together for some adult fellowship as well. During the school year we have a Sunday School class that can but does not always pertain to parenting issues.

My hope is that you will be able to stop by here any time and get an up-to-date look at what we will be doing and what we have been doing with the Family Ministry. And hopefully you will like something that you see so that you will be willing to stop by one of our events and check us out!! We would love to have you!!!

If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know. I am ALWAYS looking for ideas to make things better, fresher and more exciting. Just tell me your idea.

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully we will

SEE YOU SOON!!

If you have any questions or want to help plan any activities, please contact Lisa Bowman at Jon_and_Lisa@verizon.net

Have a great day and we can’t wait to see you!

I'm going to make a double recipe of Shepherd's Pie so that we have enough main dish for everyone and I'll also bring chicken nuggets for the kids.
