Neighbors In Need Family
Bobbie, the mother, just got a part time job and is really trying to get back on her feet. When asked what she wanted for Christmas she was just silent for a while. She is mostly interested in gifts for her girls but we were able to get some ideas for her as well.
Please look at the list below and then leave a comment telling us what you will be able to purchase for the family. The gift needs to be wrapped and it needs a gift tag on it stating who the gift is to. We will be delivering them right after the Gingerbread House Party so if you can, please bring it with you to the party. If you are not able to make it to the party please let us know and we will find a way to get your gift to her. Bobbies Christmas will really be much nicer with your gifts for her girls.
**I will TRY to color things that have already been chosen blue but don't completely rely on this system.**

Christmas in April
The Family Ministry will once again be providing food for the Christmas in April work team on Saturday, April 26th. This year the work team will consist of about 12 people. I would like to just copy last years menu and provide a morning break snack (coffee and donuts), lunch (sloppy joe, chips, cookies or little debbie snacks, and drinks), and an afternoon break snack (a few plates of brownies). If we could get this stuff together for Friday night (4/25) that would be great! I will make the sloppy joe again so that it will be here and ready for Saturday. What we still need to have are: (I have highlighted the remaining items we need in blue.)
Buns - 3 or 4 packages
Chips - individual bags or a few big bags
Cookies or Little Debbie Snacks
Drinks - some cans of soda
Bottled Water
Coffee (I can’t remember how we worked this out last year)
Donuts - a few dozen
Brownies - a few plates
Plastic Wear
Cups suitable for coffee
Sturdy Plates
A big pack of Napkins
If you are able to help with a food donation, I and many others would really appreciate your help. Just let us know what you would be able to provide by clicking on "Comments" right below here (see "How to leave a Comment" at the right for directions), and I will give you directions to our house if you need them.
Thanks again,
Lis

Family Movie Night
Lori has come up with a really cute idea for the family movie night this Saturday. The movie will start at 6:00 and after the movie we will have a cute (and tasty) little craft for the kids to make for a friend. There will be popcorn and drinks available during the movie.
So, with all that in mind I have another list of items that we will be needing for the evening. If you are able to bring something we would really appreciate it. Click on the link just below here that says "comments." From there you can leave a comment that says what you plan to bring.
Here is a list of items that we will be needing:
- Vanilla icing - several cans
- Vanilla wafers
- Large (about 4") round sugar cookies - anyone feel like baking?
- Hershey kisses
- Chocolate chips
- Black shoestring licorice (or choc. gel icing tubes)
- Cinnamon candies
- Gallon sized zipper storage bags
- Microwave Popcorn
- Lemonade Mix
Also, don't forget to bring your blankets and pillows so that you can be comfy on the floor.
I can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!
